Of course, Miss M-Cat is experiencing many things for the first time. Here are a few highlights from last week…
Her first of many “sink baths” (I’m not kneeling down much these days with my incision healing, so the bathtub is not an option!):
Her first time being “slung” in a sling (and she konked out almost immediately. Yay!):
Our first time being driven anywhere by Auntie Kim! Eek! (I can’t drive for a few weeks, and she only took us a few blocks. She did fine!):
Her first time joining in the family tradition of hanging out at our neighborhood coffeeshop/playhouse (she slept most of the time and I got to have a decaf banana caramel frappe! Yum!):
How insane that you’ve already been “out and about” with her in tow. Um, can someone say C-section??? Dude.
And really, the picture of her in the sling looks so much like Slice I can hardly contain my laughter!
Too cool.
